My Bio

I was born in Nova Scotia in 1965 and was very young at the time of my birth ;)
33 years paddling experience (so far).
Aug. 2003 Attempt on the 24 Hour Endurance Kayaking World Record, paddling 275 kilometers in 22 hours down the Peace River. .
Former member of the Necky Kayaks Pro Paddling Team.
Marathon Canoe Racer off and on since the 1980's
Solo Kayaking expeditions of up to 1200 kilometers.
Long distance cycling tours of up to 7000 kilometers.
Former competitive Road Cyclist.
6 Month Solo Cross Canada Canoe Expedition in 2004.

Founder and Past President of the Atlantic Kayak Association.
Creator and President of the Superior Kayak & Canoe Club in Thunder Bay Ontario.
Yukon River Quest competitor...700 km paddling race down the Yukon River...anxious to go back and enter SOLO after the fiasco last time around.

Currently prepping for a new expedition around Vancouver Island to reclaim the speed record. Expedition launches in August 2010
